Too Many Bunnies!

As parents and grandparents, we cannot depend on our culture to provide godly books that teach truths to our children. Easter books should teach the beauty of the Lamb of God, the story of the cross, the promise of forgiveness, the new hope found in the Resurrection of Jesusl That's the message of Easter –– Resurrection Sunday.

But our culture isn't teaching our children about Jesus. That's why God called me to begin Winsome Movement at 4:00 a.m. on a cold January night in 2024. Our mission is to restore the innocence of our children by providing godly books for parents and grandparents to read to children. Especially at Easter!

I love bunnies. Our granddaughter has a soft brown, flopped-eared bunny that shares her bed every night. Bunnies are adorable. We love to see real bunnies scampering across our back yard in springtime. Bunnies make us smile. We can find an abundance of bunnies in the stores right now. Too many bunnies! Culture has even created The Easter Bunny and woven the entire Easter story around him.

Bunnies have absolutely nothing to do with the beautiful story of the cross , the story of our Savior who was raised from the dead to new life. Bunnies cannot give sinners hope that we will spend eternity with Jesus, the Risen Lamb of God.

We have a beautiful story to tell our children and grandchildren. Be sure your gifts this Easter share that message. That's why I wrote a little book called Little Lamb –– to give you a gift for your children that honors the meaning and beauty of Easter.

Together we celebrate the most beautiful gift given to sinners –– Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the risen Lamb.
